What is Inner Conflict Resolution Therapy?

Inner Conflict Resolution Therapy is an amazing voyage of discovery that uses evolutionary psychology and archetypal methodology. It aims at unlocking your hidden potentials allowing you access to your inner resources and heal unresolved internal conflicts between different parts of yourself.

It creates greater internal harmony within your mind, alignment and coherence within your psyche and better congruence within your personality.

It is delivered in a full waking state and I give a full explanation of the therapy during your session.

The Role of your Personality in change.

Nature Nurture Balance

As human beings we have complex personalities it affects your thinking, feelings and behaviour, in any situation at any time. Your personality helps you to ‘survive’ and deal with the daily challenges surrounding you. In a sense your personality is in part psychological but also physiological.

As humans we can override our true nature by what we have learnt, you know the ways that we are taught we 'should' behave. There does not need to be a trauma or negative experience in the past to cause discomfort for us to feel that something is off or just not right.

By learning about different aspects of your personality and how aligned each part is you are empowered in how to work in harmony with your personality so you can achieve the goals you want in life.

How and why we can be in conflict?

Conflict can arise between the person you subconsciously feel you are and the person you are supposed to be, the face you show the world or the mask you have had to adopt in order to get on or survive. If this mismatch grows too big it creates internal stress, tension and ultimately unhappiness. It can appear as though there is some invisible force stopping us or sabotaging our hard work or achievements, success alludes us. It can trigger a whole mix of symptoms, from over-eating to panic attacks, low-confidence to depression, anxiety, procrastination, frustration, anger, fear and so on!

Mental Wellbeing

Even though you may be ready for change there might be an unconscious part of you that interferes or sabotages the process. This can be an attempt to protect you from vulnerable feelings that can appear threatening to your sense of self. Inner Conflict Resolution Therapy aims to bring harmony and cohesion to the conflicted parts, creating greater integration and clarity to the parts, allowing you to achieve your wishes and desires with more ease.

Mental Health

We look at your nature and what is your nurture using archetypes to provide a better way of understanding yourself and the complex world around you. Using specific archetypes is a methodology that relates to what it is to be human and how different parts of us come together through our mindset, values, behaviour, skills, attitude and external appearance.

You also have the option of taking an Archetypal profiling assessment to better understand how to create what you want.

What methods do I use?

Carl Jung Archetypes

I combine a vast array of knowledge and training to assist you and for the archetypal aspects I use the parts therapy that was developed by Terence Watts, called Warriors, Settlers & Nomads (WSN).

In Psychological terms it is an Archetypal methodology of Parts Therapy aligning ourselves to in this case 3 specific archetypes that have been embedded within our psyche. From this particular model comes the concept of epigenetics, the pasting down of particular traits from our ancient ancestors. So that now we are a mix of all 3, Warrior, Settler and Nomad.

I use this technique to understand your psychological state and your core personality. We can then see how each of the three archetypes of your personality can both support you and restrict you, which is holding the resources you need and learn how to access them.

This then helps you to make fundamental changes to your behaviours, actions, reactions and thinking resulting in greater harmony between your true personality type and the public self you show the world.

Inner Harmony Aligned to Success

Booking a Session

Inner Conflict Resolution Therapy can be delivered as part of a course of therapy that includes other methodologies, or as a standalone session.

You have the option if you wish to receive a full Archetypal profiling assessment in the WSN method to identify the different parts of yourself. This will reveal to you your strengths and show you were there is underdeveloped potential and untapped resources. It can also be profoundly transformational as you gain greater insight into yourself.
